PBS FM is one of Australia's leading community radio stations. Our charter is to play under-represented music, and we've been doing so for over 30 years.
All our announcers are volunteers, as are many of the people behind the scenes. Still, it costs around $15,000.00/week to keep us going!
Our income is derived predominantly from memberships; we are not a commercial station nor do we get government funding.
If you'd like to support PBS FM and Fret Net in particular, and help keep us on air, please consider joining. Please note that none of this money, not even one single cent, goes to me. It ALL goes towards the running costs of the station. I'm a volunteer and give my time to PBS and Fret Net for free.
